Sliced Baked Potato Recipe

For some reason, I’ve been obsessed with potatoes recently. I keep preparing them in different ways trying to find something new that appeals to me, but isn’t smothered in butter and other fats.

Well, folks, I think I’ve found that recipe!  Both Hubby and I were drooling over these yummy potatoes and can’t wait to make them again :)

Here’s How You Do It:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425-degrees and line a cookie sheet or shallow pan with aluminum foil; spray with cooking oil.
  2. Clean and dry your potatoes {however many you need}.  Carefully slice the potato making sure not to go all the way through the potato.
  3. Place the potatoes on the prepared pan, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, and sprinkle with salt.
  4. Bake for about an hour; more or less depending on the size of your potato.

That’s it! That’s how simple it is to make this tasty potato!  I also didn’t have to smother it in butter to thoroughly enjoy it the baked potato.

Not only does it taste good, but it’s really pretty!  Sometimes, presentation is everything and this recipe definitely fits the bill.
