I should warn you guys, the Target cashier I got when I took advantage of this deal was kind of a jerk.  He got irritated when he realized I would be getting the bottles of lotion for free after the gift cards so he called over the manager who went through my coupons for a full 5-minutes.  Luckily, I had verified with customer service that the deal would work before heading to check-out, so after they went through my coupons with a fine-toothed comb, the manager informed the cashier that I was correct and to move forward with the transactions.  Because the coupons stated that you could only use 4 like coupons in a single transaction, I split my transaction up and used the gift cards I received in the first transaction to pay for the second transaction {I still have 3 $5 gc’s left over for future deals}.

Don’t forget!  The coupons expire on 12/31!  They are also DIFFERENT from the ones you are able to print online right now {$3.00 off any two (2) AVEENO products and $1.00 off any one (1) AVEENO Body Care Product} because the printable ones have a size restriction and the ones in the 10/28 SS insert does not.

Internet Safety Tips For Kids & Teens

Do you allow your children to play on the internet or have a Facebook account?  While I do let Little Man occasionally play online games on child-friendly web sites, I always make sure that I’m in the room while he’s doing so and I am constantly looking over at his screen to make sure he hasn’t clicked an advertisement or clicked his way to a different site. As for Facebook, I may be addicted to my newsfeed, but it’s going to be a LONG time until Little Man is allowed to create his own account. There are far too many dangerous people and computer viruses out there for me to let him have access to a world of strangers.

Internet safety is a big concern of mine since, as you’ll see in the infograph below, two-thirds of internet users fall victim to internet crime.  That’s an insane amount of underage internet users who are being harassed!  Talking to your children about internet safety and taking a few simple steps to protect them online can greatly reduce their odds of falling into this statistic.

This Pregnancy Is Kicking My @$$ – Week 14 Update

When I was pregnant with Little Man, I remember thinking, “Who does this more than once?”

Now that I’m pregnant with Baby #2, I’m beginning to see that my first pregnancy wasn’t so bad after all!

Yes, I did have extreme morning sickness with Little Man, but that was pretty much it.  I went to work every day and never let my nausea effect my job.  I worked up until the day I went into labor and just had to drop in at the office to check on everyone on the day I got home from the hospital.  Maybe it was because I was only 19/20-years-old and full of energy.  Who knows?

Now, 6 years later, I’m struggling every day through this pregnancy.  For the first trimester, I was battling the worst morning sickness I’d ever experienced. Now, in week 14, my appetite has increased SUBSTANTIALLY and I feel like I spend more time eating than I spend not eating. As a chubby chick, I never thought I’d find myself HATING food.  I am sooooo sick of eating!  I can eat a full meal and within an hour, I’m starving again!

I’m also experiencing migraines that leave me stuck in bed with a heat pad for hours, sensitivity to light, and blurred vision that seems to pop up at the most inconvenient of times. This is why I haven’t been blogging much lately.  I can barely look at the screen without things going blurry and my eyes starting to hurt.  I’ve taken 4 breaks during this post alone so I could rest my eyes.
