One of the shores we visited in our trip to Hawaii =D
When I was a teenager, I was fortunate enough to get to go to Hawaii with my family. Since my parents owned their own heating and air conditioning company, family vacations didn’t come often. Every time we kids got out of school for the summer, their business would start booming due to the heat! For that reason, my parents decided that we would go for a whole THREE weeks – they knew there probably wouldn’t be another family vacation for a year or two. I can’t even express how wonderful it was in Hawaii! There are waterfalls, greenery, and wild animals as far as the eye can see! Depending on the island you visit, you can find a plethora of tourist attractions and sights to see.

Hey, look! It's CRUSH from Finding Nemo! LOL
As with all of our family vacations, the first thing my step-father did was start looking through the local papers and online for Hawaii real estate for sale. You would really be surprised at the great deals you can find! Living in the beautiful state of Hawaii is a dream for many and now, that dream is more in reach than ever. Whether it is the home you will live in year-round, or simply a vacation home you visit once or twice a year, real estate in Hawaii allows for all the luxuries of an island vacation, right in your backyard!

If there’s one stage that I think all children go through it’s the one where they start shoving things down toilets. Whether it’s their favorite toy, a pair of underwear, or the some other random object, little ones will find almost anything to shove down the swirling vortex of fun. In most cases, you only find out once the toilet has overflowed and there is puddle quickly turning into a lake on your bathroom floor. At times like this, having a plumber in the family comes in VERY handy. For those of us without a pipe-savvy relative right down the road, there’s Roto-Rooter. They’re licensed and trained to handle any of your
So how do you handle plumbing problems like a sock stuffed down the toilet? The worst object I’ve had to deal with getting flushed down the toilet is a large roll of toilet paper, but have had friends and relatives who have reported everything from toys to jewelry. I can’t imagine if he flushed my favorite bracelet or necklace, but if it happened, I’d surely call in the professionals. With my luck, I’d end up making the situation a hundred times worse and irreversible.

As small business owners, my parents have been constantly progressing and changing with the times. As their customer base got bigger, so did their need to neatly organize all the information. As time progressed, they also expanded out to having more technicians and a bigger need to upgrade the technology. In order to give everyone access to the same information, a tech friend suggested a dedicated server. That was the best decision of their business career! Not only could they access their information from anywhere {which came in helpful when my Mom needed to work from home because one of us was sick}, but their precious information was also protected from power-outages, lightning strikes, and viruses.
To celebrate National Blueberry Month {which is July}, the great folks at
As for the taste – delicious! It was creamier than normal instant oatmeal you buy in the stores. The smell of the blueberries is intoxicating and by the time the 2-minute microwaving time was up, the kitchen, dining room, AND living room had the pleasant aroma of blueberry muffins. Of course, Daddy was a little disappointed when I told him we weren’t having muffins, but when I told him that was the smell of his morning oatmeal, he perked right up.
